Serv. - Disaster Assist1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 r 28 1 RESOLUTION NO. 94-5660 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR AS DESIGNATED AGENT TO PROVIDE, TO THE STATE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES, FOR ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO SUCH STATE DISASTER ASSISTANCE THE ASSURANCES AND AGREEMENTS REQUIRED BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Viki Copeland, Finance Director, is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Hermosa Beach, State of California, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, this application and to file it in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for the 1994 Northridge Earthquake which occurred in January of 1994. SECTION 2. That the City of Hermosa Beach, State of California, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of Emergency Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements required.
