HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES-96-5805 (CUP/50A PIER AVE)1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 96-5805 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, SUSTAINING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, ON APPEAL, TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW ON -SALE GENERAL ALCOHOL IN CONJUNCTION WITH A RESTAURANT AT 50A PIER AVENUE, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 8, 9, AND 10, BLOCK 12, HERMOSA BEACH TRACT WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on May 14, 1996, to consider an appeal of the Planning Commission's decision to approve the subject Conditional Use Permit Amendment and to consider oral and written testimony on the matter, and; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Conditional Use Permit Amendment at their meeting of March 19, 1996, and approved the request subject to conditions as I contained in Planning Commission resolution 96-16, and; WHEREAS, after considering the decision of the Planning Commission and their record of decision, and the testimony at the public hearing, the City Council agrees with the Planning Commission, and agrees with the findings and the conditions contained within Planning Commission Resolution 96-16, which are incorporated herein by reference; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY SUSTAIN THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AS AMENDED, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS AS SET FORTH IN P.C. RESOLUTION 96-16.
