HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 16-7052 (CALTRANS COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT)I 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 7R RESOLUTION NO. 16-7052 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. 07-5110 WITH CALIFONIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM (SUS) REFFERED TO AS "PROJECT" IN THE ENCLOSED COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, Caltrans provides funding of $180,000 from State SHOPP Minor Contribution for construction of ADA infrastructure "ADA access curb ramps" and within the SHS (SR1-PCH); and WHEREAS, the City of Hermosa Beach commits to implement the project by design, construction and inspection of the project to completion; and WHEREAS, the City of Hermosa Beach will follow the Caltrans encroachment permi process in order to complete the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF HERMO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY: 1. Approve the Cooperative Agreement No. 07-5110 by and between the City of Beach and Caltrans which authorizes Caltrans to provide funding for City of Hermosa Beach to implement improvements of ADA infrastructure system "ADA access curb ramps" and appurtenances between 2nd Street and 21" Street on PCH within the SHS in the City of Hermosa Beach. This Resolution shall take effect immediately. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas and adoption of this Resolution, shall cause the original of the same to be entered among original resolutions of the City Council and shall make a minute of the passage and thereof in the minutes of the City Council meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
