RESOLUTION NO. 17-7076
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, TO ADOPT A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH THE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEE GROUP
WHEREAS, employees of the City of Hermosa Beach, California represented by the
Management Employee Group, have elected to meet and confer with the City of Hermosa Beach on
matters concerning wages, hours, and working conditions; and
WHEREAS, the above personnel have selected certain individuals to represent them; and
WHEREAS, Employee and the City Chief Labor Negotiator have jointly negotiated
changes to the Memorandum of Understanding which has been ratified by a majority vote of the
members of the Management Employee Group; and
WHEREAS, the Employee and City Chief Labor Negotiator have mutually agreed to
recommend that the City Council adopt these changes to the Memorandum of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach resolves to enter
into a Memorandum of Understanding to be effective for the period of July 1, 2016 through and
including June 30, 2019, and authorizes the City Chief Negotiator to sign the Memorandum of
Understanding on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution; shall cause the same to be entered among the original resolutions of
said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the
proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which time same is
passed and adopted. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 2017.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 17-7076 was duly and regularly passed,
approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at a Regular
Meeting of said Council at the regular place thereof on June 15, 2017.
