A RESOLUTION OF THE C ITV PLANNING COMMISSION OF
HERMOSA BEACH APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR OUTSIDE SERVICE OF FOOD, BEER AND WINE, AND
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT INS -IDE AN EXISTING RESTAURANT
AT 66 HERMOSA AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach at a pub) ic hearing held
June 23, 1975, considered the request of Mr. Lawrence Clark for a conditional
use permit for outside service of food, beer and wine, and 1 ive entertainment
inside an existing restaurant (Incredible Edibles) on Lot 7, Block 41, First
Addition to Hermosa Beach Tract, known as 66 H~rmosa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at said pub! ic hearing, no one spoke in opposition of said request; and
~JHEREAS, there was some con1=ern over possible noise problems that may arise with
the granting of the request;
NO\-/, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of Hermosa
· Beach hereby grants the request for a conditional use permit for outside service
of food, beer and wine and 1 ive entertainment inside an existing restaurant at
66 Hermosa Avenue subject to the following conditions:

Outside service hours to be no greater than 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Hours of I ive entertainment to be no greater than 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
All entertainment must be conducted wholly within the building, that there
be no more than three musicians, and that there be no sound amp! ification
equipment of any kind. If the pol ice chief at a future time determines
~that there is a noise problem from the entertainment, the Planning Commis-
s ion can revoke this privilege.
That" the grounds of the establishment and the surrounding pub! ic sidewalks,
etc. be kept clean and neat at ail times, and if a 1 itter or trash problem
develops that is not immediately dealt with by the business, the City is
authorized~to clean · it up and charge the costs to the business.
Serving utensils and dinnerware for outside service shall be of "permanent"
construction, not thr~~-away paper plates or plastic utensils.
That there~shall not be provided a separate 11 to go" food service.
That there be ·a three-month review.
