A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH AMENDING ARTICLE 6
OF THE ZONING CODE TO INCLUDE BOARDING HOUSE, ROOMING HOUSE AND LODGING
HOUSE AS PERMITTED USES, AND AMENDING ARTICLE 10 BY MODIFYING THESE USES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 4, 1983
to consider this matter; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the compatability of the
above mentioned land uses with the various zone catagories in the City;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the R-3 zone is the
most appropriate zone for the above land uses~ and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that this action taken
on these land uses will necessitate amending their current status in the
zoning code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the City Council, that the changes to Articles 6 and l O of
the City Zoning Code be enumerated in the attached ordinance be adopted.

AYES: Comms. Brown, Izant, Shapiro, Strohecker, Chmn. Peirce
NOES: None
ABSENT: Comms. Loosli, Smith
