HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 83-12RESOLUTION P.C. 83-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DENYING AN AMENDMENT TO THE C-POTENTIAL ZONE ALONG PAC- IFIC COAST HIGHWAY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public hearings on April 19 and May 3, 1983 to consider this matter; and WHEREAS, the City is in the process of revising its land use element; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that this revision to the land use element will yield information valuable in making long term land use decisions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the best method to address the C-Potential zone is to not change the regulations as they are currently described in the Zoning Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that before any action occurs on amending C-potential procedures, a greater degree of clarity has to be introduced to the Zoning Code as to what is meant by C-potential; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that lots on Pac- ific Coast Highway need to be examined individually in order to be certain that C-potential applies to them. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of Her- mosa Beach, California does hereby deny an amendment to the Zoning Code, Section 1103, Translating potential classification to potential use.
