WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public hearings on April 19
and May 3, 1983 to consider this matter; and
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of revising its land use element;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that this revision
to the land use element will yield information valuable in making

to address the C-Potential zone is to not change the regulations as
they are currently described in the Zoning Code; and

action occurs on amending C-potential procedures, a greater degree
of clarity has to be introduced to the Zoning Code as to what is
meant by C-potential; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that lots on Pac-
ific Coast Highway need to be examined individually in order to be
certain that C-potential applies to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of Her-
