USES) IN R-3 ZONES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 3, 1983
to consider this matter; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recognizes the City 1 s parking space
shortage; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recognizes the R-3 zoned areas yield
the greatest demand for parking within residential zones; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that to introduce a

would notably disrupt the existing pattern and might possibly foster
future neighborhood characteristics not desired ; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that an adequate mechanism
in Section 1165 exists for parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of Hermosa
Beach, California does hereby deny an amendment to the Zoning Code,
