A RESOLUTION Of THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY·OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A ZONE CHANGE AND GENERAL PLAN.AMENDMENT, FROM OPEN
SPACE TO R-1, ON THE 1800-BLOCK OF HARPER; THAT PORTION OF PARCEL MAP #5406
ADJACENT TO LOTS 1 THRU 6, -TRACT 32237 AS INDICATED ON TENTATIVE TRACT
MAP #32162. •
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach held a public hearing on
this matter on July 5, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach has derennined that this
action, from a land use perspective, which follows a lot line adjustment on
subject properties is based on logic, t.e. properties currently have two
land use/zoning designations; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Hennosa Beach has determined that the
existing situation contributes another type of inconsistency to the City 1 s
complex general plan/zoning inconsistencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Hermosa Beach does hereby approve and recoITTTiend to the City Council of the
City of Hennosa Beach, a zone change and general plan amendment from open
space to R-1, on the 1800 Block of Harper Avenue; that portion of parcel
map #5406 adjacent to lots 1 thru 6, tract 32237 as indicated on tentative
tract map #32162
