HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 83-251 2 RESOLUTION P.C. 83-25 RESOLUTION BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA EACH ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT IN THE REGULA TIO NS GOVERNING THE -POTENTIAL ZONE ALONG PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY. 3 HEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 5th and 20th 983, to ·Gonsid~r this · matter; and 4 :VHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the Multi-Use Corridor 5 eserves consideration concerning strengthening it's viability; and 6 HEREAS, the Planning Commission is of the opinion that commercial development is est suited for Pacific Coast Highway; and 7 HEREAS, the Planning Commission has deter111ined that the existing situation of a 8 one and underlying potential zone may not represent the most functional mechanism y which to transform C-Potential land to commercial zoned land. 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DOES HEREBY RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE C-POTENTIAL ZONE • ALONG PACifIC COAST HIGHWAY, SUCH AMENDMENT WILL CREATE A TWO STEP PROCESS WHEREIN THE DEVELOPER FIRST APPLIES FOR A ZONE CHANGE, THEN HE SUBMITS A PRECISE PLAN TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR REVIEW.
