RESOLUTION P.C. 83-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH
APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF HERMOSA BEACH
THE ADOPTION OF THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach held numerous workshops,
2 joint workshops with the City Council, and public hearings on the housing Element of.
3 the General Plan during the period from July 1982 through October 18, 1983;
4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered all of the items requested by
5 the City Council at the September 7, 1983, joint workshop;
6 WHEREAS, the community-at-large has had ample opportunity to provide input to
7 the Planning Commission;
8 WHEREAS, the City recognizes that State law stipulates a Housing Element is
9 necessary to have a full and complete General Plan; and
10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes that the Housing Element discussed
11 on October 18, 1983, best represents the values and goals of the community;

13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of Hermosa
14 Beach hereby approves and recommends to the City Council of Hermosa Beach
15 adoption of the Housing Element of the General Plan as reviewed last on October 18,
16 1983.
