HomeMy WebLinkAboutBZA 154-13.- NAME: Vasek Polak LOCATION: 199 Pacific Coast Highway TO PERMIT: Zone variance waiving City parking requirements DATE: Jan ua ry I 2 , 1 97 0 RESOLUTION B.Z.A. 154-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, GRANTING A ZONING VARIANCE WAIVING PARKING RE- QUIREMENTS UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 199 PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA. THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Board, under the prov1s1ons of Ordinance N.S. 154, an application for a variance by Vasek Polak upon property owned by applicant and located at 199 Pacific Coast Highway; and WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of Hermosa Beach did on January 12, 1970 conduct a pub] ic hearing to consider this application to permit a variance of City parking requirements; and WHEREAS, at said pub I ic hearing there was presented written and oral testimony on the property described as follows: Lot 93, Walter Ransom Company's Venable Place Tract. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in view of the finding at said hearing, the Board of Zoning Adjustments does hereby grant this variance for the following reasons: I. There are exceptional and extraordinary circumstances applicable to the property involved. 2. It has been shown that there is sufficient offstreet parking spaces available. 3. The granting of this variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in the vicinity in which said property is located. 4. The granting of the variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right by the owner. B.Z.A. RESOLUTION 154 -13 PAGE 2 JANUARY 12, 1970 The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the Board of Zoning Adjust- ments at a regular meeting held January 12, 1970, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: Comm.
