WALECKI 2012 POWER STREET TO GRANT: PERMISSION TO ERECT SIX-FOOT FENCE ON FRONT PROPERTY LINE AND ALONG WESTERLY SIDEYARD A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A VARIANCE TO PERMIT ERECTION OF A SIX-FOOT FENCE ALONG THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE AND \.JESTERLY SIDEYARD IN LIEU OF MAXIMUM HEIGHT ALLOHED OF THREE FEET IN REQUIRED 10 FT. SETBACK. THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLO\:/S: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Board under the provisions of Ordinance N.S. 154, an application for a variance by Mr. and 1 Mrs. Ronald H. \.Jalecki upon property owned by applicants and located at 2012 Power Street, legally described as Lot 60, Tract 1868, Hermosa Beach, California, and WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of Hermosa Beach did on October 4, 1971, conduct a public hearing to consider this application for a variance to permit erection of a six-foot fence along the front property I ine and westerly side- yard in 1 ieu of maximum height allowed of three feet in required ten-foot setback, and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, there was presented written and oral testimony on the property described as follows: Lot 60, Tract 1868, known as 2012 Power Street, NO~J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in view of the findings at said hearing, the Board of Zoning Adjustments does hereby grant this variance for the following reasons: I. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved. 2. That such variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoy- ment of a substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 3. That the granting of such variance wi 11 not be materially detri- mental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located. 4. That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the comprehensive general plan. The foregoing Resolution BZA 154-52 was adopted by the Board of Zoning Adjustments at a regular meeting held October 4, 1971, by the following vote: AYES: Comms. Basila, Schubert, Williams, Chmn. Ostermann NOES: None ABSENT: Comm. Alton CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution BZA 154-52 was adopted by the Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of Hermosa Beach at a regular meeting held on this 4th day of October, 1971.
