A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO AMEND THE OPEN SPACE
ZONE TO INCLUDE RAILWAY USES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is considering rezoning the railroad
right-of -way to open space in accordance with the General Plan Land Use
Designation; and
WHEREAS, the open space zone does not include railway uses; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission does not desire to create a non-conforming
use; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has a long range interest in retaining the
option of a railway transit use.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission will consider an
amendment to the open space zone to include a railway transit use.
