A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH
APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF HERMOSA BEACH
CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT MAP AND REZONING OF
TWO AREAS IN THE CITY FOR EXCLUSIVE USE AS MOBILE HOME PARKS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach held public
hearings on June 15, 1982 and July 6, 1982 to consider certain
amendments to the Land Use Element Map and rezoning of two areas
in the City for exclusive use as mobile home parks; and
WHEREAS, having heard public testimony to the desirablility of
implementing the Land Use Element Map amendments and rezoning
actions; and
WHEREAS, the actions achieve the objectives of the Local Coastal
Plan and the intentions of the Housing Element; and
WHEREAS, the actions achieve internal consistency between the
General Plan and zoning;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
Hermosa Beach hereby approves and recommends to the City Council
of Hermosa Beach: 1) Amendment of the Land Use Element Map to
MHP (Mobile Home Park) for OS-SP for the area known as Marineland
Mobile Homes. 2) The rezoning of Marineland Mobile Homes to MHP
(Mobile Home Park Development District) from M (Industrial) and
R-1 (potential R-3).
