Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call Section I Consent Calendar Planning Commissioner wishing to pull an item from below may do so at this time. 3. Approval of May 1, 1990 minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 90-1 approving a Conditional Use Permit for a retail shop, gas pumps and car wash, and Negative Decla- ration at 931 Pacific Coast Highway, Mobil Oil Station. (b) Resolution P.C. 90-15 An exception from Sec. 13-7(b) to allow a remodel and expansion to an existing nonconforming single-family dwelling greater than a 50% increase in valuation at 2624 The Strand (c) Resolution P.C. 90-28 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21754 for a 2-unit condomini- um at 1010 17th Street. (d) Resolution P.C. 90-29 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #21950 for a 3-unit condominium at 1105 Cypress Avenue. (e) Resolution P.C. 90-31 approving a lot line adjustment at 1230 Owosso Avenue and 1063 Corona Street. (f) Resolution P.C. 90-32 denying a variance to allow a garage setback of 5' rather than the required 17' at 2150 Circle Drive. - 1 - Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6. CON 90-7 --Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #22156 for a 2-unit condominium at 829 15th Street. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map. 7. CUP 90-4/PARK 90-3 --Conditional Use Permit amendment and Parking Plan to al low portable classroom in existing parking lot and elimination of eight parking spaces, and adoption of an Negative Declaration at 340 Massey Avenue, Our lady of Guadalupe School. Recommended Act ion: To approve said Conditional Use Fermi t amendment and Parking Plan and adopt the Negative Declaration. 8. VAR 90-3 --Variance to allow two parking spaces in the front yard setback and roof encroachment in the front yard setback and adoption of an Environmental Negative Declaration at 2634 Strand. Recommended Action: To deny the variance request. 9. CUP 90-7 --Conditional Use Permit for auto parts warehouse and adoption of a Negative Declaration at 737 Third Street in con- junction with Vasek Polak auto dealerships. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and adopt the Negative Declaration. 10. SS 88-10 --Text amendment regarding height of hedges and fen- ces and adoption of a Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend approval of said text amend- ment and adoption of the Negative Declaration. Section IV Hearings 11. Capital Improvement Program budget review and approval (con- tinued from May 1, 1990 meeting). Recommended Action: To recommend approval of the budget. 12. LLA 90-3 - -Lot 1 ine adjustment at 120-122 25th Street and 2463-2467 Manhattan Avenue. Recommended Act ion: To approve the proposed lot 1 ine adjustment. - 2 - 13. NR 90-4 --An exception from Section 13-7(b) to allow a remodel and expansion to an existing nonconforming duplex greater than a 50% increase in valuation at 834 Bard Street. Recommended Action: To approve the request. Section V 14. Staff Items a. List of completed projects for inspection. b. Tentative future Planning Commission agenda. c.
