Pledge of Allegiance b. Roll Call Section I Consent Calendar Planning Commissioner wishing to pull an item from below may do so at this time. 2. Approval of May 15, 1990 minutes 3. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 90-34 determining that the proposed 1990-91 Fiscal Year Capital Improvement Program is consistent with the General Plan for the City of Hermosa Beach. (b) Resolution P.C. 90-35 approving a conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #22156 for a 2-unit con- dominium at 829 15th Street. (c) Resolution P.C. 90-36 approving a Conditional Use Permit amendment and Parking Plan to allow portable classroom in existing parking lot and elimination of eight parking space, and adoption of the Negative Declaration at 340 Mas- sey Avenue. (d) Resolution P.C. 90-37 approving a Conditional Use Permit for auto parts warehouse and Negative Declaration at 737 3rd Street in conjunction with Vasek Polak auto dealerships. (e) Resolution P.C. 90-38 denying a variance to allow two park- ing spaces in the front yard setback and roof encroachment in the front yard setback at 2634 Strand. (f) Resolution P.C. 90-39 approving a lot line adjustment at r 120 25th Street and 2463 Manhattan Avenue. (g) Resolution P.C. 90-40 recommending approval of a text - 1 - amendment regarding height of hedges and fences and adop- tion of a Negative Declaration. (h) Resolution P.C. 90-41 An exception from Section 13-7(b) to allow a remodel and expansion to an existing nonconforming duplex greater than a 50% increase in valuation at 834 Bard Street. Section II Communications 4. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 5. SUB 86-2 --Supplemental environmental assessment for the re- vised grading plan for an eight-lot subdivision at 532, 534 & 540 20th Street, commonly known as "The Power Street Subdivi- sion'' (continued from 4/3/90 & 5/1/90 meetings). Recommended Action: To continue to a date certain per appli- cant's request. 6. CON 90-5 --Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21868 for a 3-unit condominium at 350 Manhattan Avenue, aka 212 4th Street (continued from 4/17/90 & 5/1/90 meetings). Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map. 7. CUP 90-5 - -Conditional Use Permit for of £-sale general al- coholic beverages and Negative Declaration at 1031 Hermosa Avenue, Golden Lion Liquor. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and adopt the Negative Declaration. 8. CON 90-9 --Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map 1122184 for a 2-unit condominium at 126 Manhattan Avenue, aka 160 Manhattan Avenue. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map. 9. CUP 90-10 --Conditional Use Permit amendment to allow live entertainment from 4: 00 p .m. to 1: 30 a .m. on weekends and holidays at 22 Pier Avenue, The End Zone. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit amendment. Second Quarter General Plan Amendments: 10. SS 89-13 --Adoption of the "Parks and Recreation Master Plan" as an amendment to the Open Space Element of the General Plan and adoption of a Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said amendment and Negative Declaration. - 2 - 11. GP 90-2/ZON 90-2 --To consider General Plan redesignation and rezoning of the Bi 1 tmore Site publicly owned portion from a Specific Plan Area for a hotel to residential and commercial designations or to such other designations/zones as deemed ap- propriate by the Planning Commission and adoption of a Negative Declaration for the publicly owned portion of the Biltmore Site. Recommended Action: To recommend redesignation/rezoning of the Biltmore Site to Medium Density residential/Specific Plan Area with maximum of 14 units and redesignation/rezoning of Parking Lot "C" to General Commercial/C2, and adoption of the Negative Declaration. 12. SS 86-9 --Adoption of the General Plan Circulation, Transpor- tation and Parking Element, and adoption of the a Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said Element and Negative Declaration. Section IV Hearing 13. LM 89-1 --Extension of a lot merger at 1712 The Strand. Recommended Action: To grant an additional six month extension of the proposed lot merger. Section V 14. Staff Items a. City Council/Planning Commission workshop. b.
