Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call Section I Consent Calendar Planning Commissioner wishing to pull an item from below may do so at this time. 3. Approval of June 5, 1990 minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 90-30 approving a conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21868 for a 3-unit con- dominium at 350 Manhattan Avenue, aka 212 4th Street. (b) Resolution P.C. 90-45 denying a Conditional Use Permit amendment to allow live entertainment from 4:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays at 22 Pier Avenue, The End Zone. (c) Resolution P.C. 90-47 recommending amending the Open Space Element of the General Plan by adding "The Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan" as a general policy statement and adoption of an Negative Declaration. (d) Resolution P.C. 90-48 recommending the adoption of the final Circulation, transportation and Parking Element as an amendment to the General Plan and adoption of the Negative Declaration. - 1 - Section II Communications 5. CUP 90-3 --Conditional Use Permit for off-sale beer and wine & adoption of the Negative Declaration at 302 Pier Avenue, Simp- son's Market (continued from May 1, 1990 meeting). Recommended Action: To continue to a date certain. 7. CUP 90-6 --Conditional Use Permit for on-sale general al- coholic beverages in conjunction with a restaurant and adoption of a Negative Declaration at 11 Pier Avenue, Mermaid Restaurant. Recommended Action: To continue to a date certain. 8. CON 90-9 --Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map 1122184 for a 2-unit condominium at 126 Manhattan Avenue, aka 160 Manhattan Avenue (continued from June 5, 1990 meeting). Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map. 9. CON 90-8 --Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #22100 for a 2-unit condominium at 626 Seventh Street. Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map. 10. TEXT 88-7 --Text amendment regarding amortization period for businesses currently operating without Conditional Use Permits and adoption of a Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend approval of said text amend- ment and adoption of the Negative Declaration. Second Quarter General Plan Amendment (continued from June 5, 1990 meeting): 11. GP 90-2/ZON 90-2 --To consider General Plan redesignation and rezoning of the Biltmore Site publicly owned portion from a Speci fie Plan Area for a hotel to residential and commercial designations or to such other designations/zones as deemed ap- propriate by the Planning Commission and adoption of a Negative Declaration for the publicly owned portion of the Biltmore Site. Recommended Action: To recommend redesignation/rezoning of the Biltmore Site to Medium Density residential/Specific Plan Area with maximum of 14 units and redesignation/rezoning of Parking Lot "C" to General Commercial/C2, and adoption of the Negative Declaration. - 2 - . t Section IV Hearings 12. CON 90-7 --Review of the elevation plan for a 2-unit condo at 829 15th Street. Recommended Action: To approve said elevation plan. 13. CON 88-16 --Extension of the Tentative Parcel Map #19594 for a 3-unit condo at 521 11th Street. Recommended Action: To grant an one year extension. 14. SS 90-5 --Text amendment to add installation of car stereo and car alarms with Conditional Use Permit to C-3 permitted use list. Recommended Action: To set for public hearing. Section V 15. Staff Items a. RUDAT AIA City Planning Consultation (continued from June 5, 1990 meeting). b. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission 1 iaison for June 26, 1990 City Council meeting. c.
