A RESOLUTION OF RECORD OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
HERMOSA BEACH SETTING FORTH THE INTERPRETED INTENT OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO· THE SALE, RENTAL AND STORAGE OF SURFBOARDS
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Hermosa Beach held at the City Hall in Hermosa Beach, California, on October 8,
1962, the Commission considered the application of Mr. Walter Slike for a ruling
on the C-1 zone (4) classification and Resolution of Record P, C. 154-3 relative
to the sale, rental and storage of surfboards, and the intent pertaining to
minor repairs;
N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission, in s tudying the
matter,finds its interpreted intent that the C-1 should allow very minor
repairs to surfboards, aJJ.. such repairs to be done inside the premises by an·
employee of the firm.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of said resolution be forwarded to the
City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach, and if approved by said Council,
thereafter such interpretation shall govern.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on October 8, 1962, by the following vote:
