A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF TH& CITY OF HERMOSA. BEAOH
RECOMMENDING TO T~ CHY COUNCIL CERTAIN ACTION REG.AR.DING AN
.APPLICATION FOR ZONE VARIANCE AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE STRAND
IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNIID COMMISSION OF TIE CITY OF HERMOSA :3EACH does. ras.olve as follows:
WHJ1REAS, the Pla.mri.ng Commission did, on October 24, 1960, at a duly advertised
hearing, adopt Resolution No. P. c. 154--302, granting the application far z.one
variance of Doyle H. Boren to permit erection of an 8-story apartment house,
with certain restrictions, on that property located at 1500 Strand and
described as L.ots 1, 2 and 3, Block 16, Hermosa Beach Tract; and
WHEREAS, on appeal of this action to the City Council, reconsideration of
this ap:plication has been requested by the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, Bt IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings during review
of this action, it is the recommendation of t he Planning Commission that this
variance be denied on the basis of the report made available tQ the -Planning
Commission by expert advice. •
The foregoing reaolution was adopted by the Plaan.i.~ Cormnission at a regular
meeting held on February 14, 1961, by the folio~ vote:
