A RESOIDrION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY , OF HERMOSA
BEACH GRANTING A ZONE AMENDMENT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY WCATED
ON THIRD STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNINJ COMMISSION (L the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows_:
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of
Ordinance No S. 154 application for zone amendment by John E. Haworth
affecting property iocated on Third Street between Pacific Coast Highway
and O~ean View Avenue; and
MIEREAS,the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on
March 13, 1961, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this
application to permit rezoning from R-1 (C potential) to C-3 to be developed
as a parking lot, of that property described as follows:
L.ots 7 and 9, Mission Tract; •

NOW, THEREFORE, :BE IT RESOLVED THAT, in view of the findings at said
hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone a.111:mdJrent
for parking area use for the reasons that the property is C potential,
the area around it is C-3, off street parking in that area is greatly
needed, and this is the only property that lends itself to a parking lot
at that particular place.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a
regular meeting held on March 13, 1961, by the follow.:ing vote:
