A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNINJ COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
ON 24th PLA.cE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING-COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does hereby resolve as
follows: . --
WHEREAS; there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of
Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Chan A. Chandler upon
property owed by the applicant and located at 635-24th Pla.ce; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of tbe City of Hermosa Beach did on
March 13, 1961, conduct a public hearing to consider this application· to
permit division of Lots 20, 21 and 22, Block 3, Hermosa View Tract #2, into
two lots having widths of 35' and 40'; existing garage on 40' parcel having
1 0 6' sideyar~ in lieu of required 3', on that property described herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Commission does hereby grant this z_one variance, provided· that
the garage wall east side, now exi. sting, be made a one-hour, fire wall, for
the reason that it is more desirable to have two larger lots rather than
substandard lotso '
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the ·Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of March, 1961, by the following vote:
