PL.ANNIN» COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH do.es hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Ray S. and Martha E. Bas.sett upon property owned by the applicants and located at 223 Manhattan Ave.; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on March 13, 1961, conduct a public bearing to consider this application to permit relocation of existing fence 10' back from curb in lieu of required 12' at a height of 5' in lieu of 3', on that property described as follows: Lo.t 2.5, Tract 1076; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance to perm.it a 5' high fence on the front property line, for the reasons that it will not be detnm.ental if it is relo.cated to the required front line and will help main- tain t~e privacy necessary in a location. of t.bi.s nature. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting :Lheld on the 13th day of March, 1961, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm.L.o.cken, Hales, Fredricka, Johnson, Noble and Chairman Viault.
