RESOLUTION NO. P. C. 154-322
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED ON 21ST STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH1 CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, there ·was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of
Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by Roderick w. and Violet
MacRae upon property owned by the. applicants and located at 944-Zlst Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on
June 12, 1961, conduct a public hearing to consider this·application to permit
division into two parcels Lots 38, 39 and 40, Tract 1965, the easterly St
of Lot· 3·9 to be added to Lot 38_, the remaining 20t of Lot 39 to be added to
Lot 40, at 944:"-2lst Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing ,
the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance for the reasons
that the present three lots are woefully substandard) and that even though . ,
the proposed division into two lots rather than three i s still less than the
minimum, this is more desirable than three woefully substandard lots~ ,
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the -Planning Commission at a regular
meeting ·.held on the 12th day of )une, 1961, by the following vote:
