C. 154,,..325 A RESOLUTION OF THE .PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY :WCATED ON 34TH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH$ CALIFORNI:A TBE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve · as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Donald K. and Lynn Y. Guidice upon property owned by the applicants and located at 123-34th .Street; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on June 12, 1961, conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit the second story of a proposed structure to encroach into the vision clearance area, the single two-family structure to be tied together with a roof and common landing, extending the full width of the structure in lieu of a comm.on wall, on that property descri~ed as follows: Lot 7, Block 101, Shakespeare Tract; NOWi THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance as indicated on the plans submitted for the reason that the plans do follow the intent of the ordinance in allowing clear vision at street level, and the proposed plans in regard to the roof and conmon landing are adequate in regard to the require... ments of a coDDD.on wall as set forth in rulings previously by the Planning • Commission for a two-unit structure on a single lot having a common wall, and that an affidavit be filed and recorded by the owners that the structure be used for two-unit occupancy only. The foregoing resolution was adopted·by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of June, 1961, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: CoDDII..
