C. 154,..326 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNIID COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DENIING A ZONE VARIANCE~ CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON • LOMA IIUVE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Cormn.ission, under the provisions of Ordinance N., s. 154, application for zone variance by Tony and Jean Baratta uponnproperty owned by the applicant and located at 1314 Loma Drive; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on June 12, 1961, conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit construction of a -4-unit apartment house having a GK-southerly sideyard in lieu of 4', extending 21•, the length of the garages, on that property described as follows: Lot 4 1 Block 1, Hiss Second .Addition; NOW., THEREFORE_, BE IT :MSOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commi ssion does hereby deny this zone variance for the reason that there has been no hardship shown, it would not be justified to approve a plan where there is a 6 11 sideyard extending 211 along the southerly portion of the property in the best interest of the public welfare from a police or fire standpoint. The foregoing resolution was adopted-by the Planning Commission at a regular ·meeting held on the 12th day of June, 1961, by the f ollowi.ng vote : AYES: NOES: AB.SENT: Black, Fredricks, Johnson, Noble and Chairman Viault.
