CQ 154-330 A RESOLUTION OF THE PIANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DENYING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPER.TY LOCATED ON MA.NHATTAN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Conunission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by Nancy G. Clark affecting property owed by the applicant at 1021 Manhattan Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Connnission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on July 10, 1961, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit construction of an 8-unit apartment house having subterranean parking, - encroaching to both side property lines, exclusive of front and rear setbacks, on that property described as follows: Lot 23, Block 35, First Addition to Hermosa Beach; ., NOW 1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Connnission does hereby deny this zone variance, for -the reason that it has not been show that there is any particular hc:U"dship, and it is not desirable that it be constructed to the property line~ The for~going resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on July 101 1961, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Conmto Noble, Johnson, Black, Hales, Locken and Chairman Fredricks.
