Speck 1216 ... 20th Place To Permit: Nonconforming Sideyard September 11, 1961 Date: RESOLUTION Po C .. l84w337 A'RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON 20TH PLACE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACHJ CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. s .. 154, application for zone variance by Gordon R .. and Marilyn G. Speck upon property owned by the applicants and located at 1216w20th Place; and WHEREAS, the-Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on Septmmber 11, 1961, conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit construction of a bedroom and service porch addition, comprising less than 30% floor area but maintaining a nonconforming 4t sideyard in lieu of required 5', on that property described as follows: Lots 110 and 111, Walter Ransom Company's Redon~o Home Tract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby gran-tftbis zone variance for an addition which will conform to the existing nonconforming sideyard for the reason that it will not materially be detrimental to the neighborhood and that there is still adequate access for safety and health purposes. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 11th day of September, 1961, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSEN'T: Comm.
