HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 154-338Naine: Location: Tf-Permit: Date: Douglas F. and Barbara Craig 7.2--tl9th Street Nonconforming Sideyard September 11, 1961 RESOLUTION NO., Po C. 154-338 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DENTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON NINETEENTH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEA.CH, CALI FORNI A THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Connnission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by Douglas F. and Barbara Craig upon property owned by the applicants and located at 72-19th Street; and WHEREAS, the Planning Connnission of the City of Hermosa Beach did, on September 11, 1961, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit construction of a deck encroaching 2'611 into the required 3' sideyard along the east side of the building at second floor level, connect- ing to an existing nonconforming stairway and landing which encroaches 2'6" into the required 3' sideyard, on that property described as follo~s: Lot 14, Block 19, Hermosa Beach Tract; NOWJ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Cononission does hereby deny this zone variance for the reason that a.',;motion to grant failed to carry the proper votes for an affirmative decision. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on September 11, 1961, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: Comm0 Noble,· Viault, Black, Hales, Locken and Chairman Fredricks. None. ABSENT t Comm. Johnson.
