A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL CERTAIN ACTION RIDAADING-
PARKING REQUIREMENTS .AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED ON MANHATTAN
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission did, on November 6, 1961, deny the proposed
parking, consisting of three standard and one substandard stalls, for
a 1230 square foot storebuilding to be used as a laundromat, at 3217 Manhattan
Avenue, on request for review of parking by the owners, Howard T. and Mary A.
Jackson, on the following described property:
Lot 16, Block 103, Shakespeare Tract; and
WHEREAS, reconsideration of this application for favorable action has been
requested by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings during r eview
of this action, on December 11, 1961, it is the recommendation of the Planning
Commission that the applicants' proposed parking be approved, re-affirming the
former decision of the Planning Conunission dated March 3, 1958, approving four
parking stalls, including one substandar d space, for a commercial building of
the same floor area, on direction of theCity Council.
The foregoing resoluti on was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on December 11, 1961, by the following vote:
AYES: Comm. Noble, Black~ Locken and Vice Chairmankales.
NOES: Connn. Johnson and Viault. 7·
ABSENT-: Chairman Fredricks.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, No. P. C. 154.-.346, was adopted
by the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach at a regular meeting
