A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL CERTAIN ACTION RID.AR.DING
PARKING REQUIREMENTS AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATEDt !QN HERMOSA AVENUE
IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
1vHEREAS, the Planning Conunission did, on October 9 and November 6, 1961, deny
the proposed parking consisting of three spaces for 1200 square feet of
commercial building at 54-46 Hermosa Avenue, on request for parking determina-
tion by Walter Slike, on the following described property:
Lot 5, Block 41, First Addition toHermosa Beach; and
WHEREAS, reconsideration of this application favorably, permitting the
1200 square foovstructure with a 30x40' paved area to the rear, providing
three accessible spaces and three inaccessible spaces, has been requested
by the City Council of the City ofHermosa Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings during review
of this action, on December 11, 1961, it is the reconnnendation of the Planning
Conunission,due to additional information supplied, to approve three additibnal
parking spaces, making a total of six,as per plot plan dated .:N~lE;Jll9.~~ 17,1961,
acting on the wishes of the City Council.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on December 11, 1961, by the following vote:

(Corron. Viault asked that the record show his dissenting vote on the grounds
that the plot plan as proposed shows nonstandard parking spaces as described
by the Planning Connnission in previQus meetings; that the access to the
parldng spaces is inadequate; and that tandem parking in any case is not
desirable.)
CERTIFICATION
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, Noa Pa C. 154-348, was adopted
by the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach at a re ular meeting
held on the 11th day of December, 1961.
