C. 154-349 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON PROSPECT AVENUE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CAIJ:FORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HFllliOSA BEAC~ does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. s. 154, am,J.ication for zone variance by Robert A. Wise upon property owned by the applicant and located at 805 Prospect Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission of the City of H~rmosa Beach did on December 11, 1961 , conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit more than a 30% addition to existing resi dence which has 6' of nonconforming sideyard, varying from three to five feet, in lieu of required five feet; addition to conform to required setbacks; and to include a doubl e garage, making a total of four garages in lieu of allowable three stalls for R-1 zone, on that property described as follows: Lot333, Tract 8386; NOW, THEREFORE J BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Conunission does hereby grant this zone variance for the reasons that the nonconforming setback is very slight and at a corner which i s not objectionable to vision on the street, and that the four-car garage is not an unreasonable request in a residential zone of.this nature.
