A RESOLUTION .OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH
GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCAll'ED ON GOULD AVENUE
IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNINC COMMISSION of the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of
Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by Adolph W. Ehlers upon
property owned by the applicant and located at 455 Gould Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did, on
February 13, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this
application to permit construction of an 11'6" x 24' bedroom addition having
a zero rear setback in lieu of required 5', on that property described as
follows:
Lot 27, Block 124, Shakespeare Tract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance for the reason
that it is felt that this should be granted since there is an existing easement
for a sewer line on the back of his property, and this would n6t constitute
a hardship on surrounding property owners and would not be a detriment as
far as access is concerned.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on February 13, 1962, by the following vote:
