NO. 154-359 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON C:ERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON FIRST PLACE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Conmrl.ssion, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by R. W. Otterson upon property owned by the applicant and located at 719 First Place; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on lte'J11m1ary 13, 1962, conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit a 12xl3' bedroom addition on the front of the rear dwelling,attached to an existing garage that has a 3' sideyard in lieu of required 4', the addition being over 30% of the floor area·of the nonconforming building, said addition to have the required 4' sideyard, GJl that property described as follows: Lot 117, Walter Ransom CompanyT s Venable Place; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Pla.zudng Commission does hereby grant this zone variance, as it is felt that this variance would not be detrimental to the surrounding area or properties in close proximity. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Connnission at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of February, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm. Noble, Johnson, Viault, Black, Hales, Locken and Chairman Fredricks. None. None. CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, .. P...:.
