Co 154-361 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON EIGHTH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING CO~[[SSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Connnission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Michael and Florence N. Graves upon property owned by the applicants and located at 322-Sth Street; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on March 12, 1962, conduct a public hearing to consider this application to permit a planter to encroach 16", at a height varying from 511 to zt, into the required 31 sideyard abutting Eighth Street, on that property described as follows: Lot 1, Block F, Tract 1677; NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance1 for the reasons that it poses no hardship on traffic; it is within the raised doorway area sheltered from the traffic of the street; it could be removed at a later date should the street widening processes dictate such a need; and it poses no safety problem for traffic in regard to feasibility or general passageway of vehicles on the street. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Corronission at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of Harch, 1962, by the following vote~ AYES: Comm.. Noble, Johnson, Black) Hales and Chairman Fredricks. NOES: Nane. ABSENT: Comm. Viault and Locken. CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, P.
