C. 154,..,365 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING OOMMISSI0N OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DENY.ING A ZONE' VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PRQPERTY LOCATED ON MfflttERY BOULEY .ARD IN THE (C:TY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING CtMMI:SSI0N OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Conunission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Guy and Dorothy Boles upon property owned by the applicants and located at 1660 Monterey Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on March 12, 1962, conduct a public hearing to considet~ this application to permit conversion·of a single-fam:i.ly residence into a duplex, one unit bei ng ·substandard, having 411 square feet floor area in lieu of required 500 square feet, on that property described as follows: Lot 6, Block 53, First Addition to Hermosa Beach; NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby deny this zone variance for the reason that the unit proposed will be below the mini.mum 500 square feet, and in addition to that, it has not been demonstrated that the unit could not meet the minimum square footage required. The foregoing resol*on was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the'l2th day of March, 1962, by the following vote: AYES-: NOES: ABSENT: Comm.
