C. 154-367 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNIID COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A ZONE AMENDMENT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN SECOND AND HERONDO STREETS IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance N.-s. 154, Section 1501, the Planning Commission did, on March 19 and April 2, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider amendment of said ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of :the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach denial of zone change from Mand R-3 to R-4 of that property located between Second and Herondo Streets west of Valley Drive which t he City Council directed the Commission to consider for such change on the land use map, for the reason that motion to grant Jailed to carry. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at an adjourned meeting held on April 2, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT:: Comm. Johnson, Viault, Locken and Chairman Fredricks. • Comm. Noble and Halesa Comm. Black. Co.mm. Johnson -I don't know what the City Council's reasons are. I have not been persuaded that the zoning should be changed on this land, and it has not been demonstrated that tru.s is suitable for reclassificationo Comm. Viault -I do not believe the individual parcels, Lots 10, 11 and 12 of the Yeoman's Subdivision or that portion of Lot 1, Block 92, Second Addition to Hermosa ·Beach, should be included as a portion of the larger parcel; and I do not believe at this time that the Planning Commission should be delineating a precise, specific plot of ground for R-4 purposes, but should be more generally designating an area which may include this specific portion for R-4. Chairman Fredricks -I do not feel the cvrnplete area at the present time with present plans (and I am not speaking of those plans that were presented for the :particular project, but I mean the plans regarding the traffic arteries and the general land use in that area) is such as to prop- erly allow me as a Commissioner to make such a decisiono CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution P.
