Location: To Permit: Date: Dean and Celeste 1218-o20th Street Lot Split May 14, 1962 Johnston RESOLUTION Po Co 154--373 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON 20TH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows·: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions ·of Qrd~nance N. s. 164, application f or zone variance by Dean and Celeste Johnston ·on property owned by the applicants and located at 121S-20th Street; and WHEREAS, the·Planning Commission of the City 0£ Hermosa Beach did on May 14, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit two 30'-wide building sites i n lieu of one 25' and one 35 ', by adding the easterly 5' of Lot 150 to Lot 149, on that property described as follows: Lots 149, 150 and the easterly 10' of Lot 151, Walter Ransom Companyts Redondo Home Tract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance for the reason that although both present parcels are substandard, it would be to the benefit of the city to have a 30'-wide lot i n lieu of the existing 25' lot. The foregoing resolution was adopt~d by the Planning Connnission at a regular meeting held on the 14th day of May, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Connn. Noble, Johnson, Viault and Vice Chairman Hales. None. Comm. Black, Locken and Chairman Fredricks.
