A RESOLUTION OF TflE PIA.~TNG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
ON PACIFIC COAST .HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE.PLANNING CO:MMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
WHEREASi there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of
Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by Marians. Bacon on
property owned by the applicant and located at 1100 Pacific Coast Highway; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Ci·ty of Hermosa Beach did on
May 14, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this
application to permit a ~ouse trailer, 55' long by 10' wide, to be u sed
as a temporary used-car office .µi :J!ieu of required buildi ng, on that
property described as f ollows :
Lot 6, Scoles Tract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in vlew of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance for the period
of one year, for the r eason that this is a temporary use, and it is being
restricted to one year to keep it temporary; applicant being given permission
to apply f or an extension-at the end of this twelve-month period f or an
additional period of time, the filing fee to be waived; parking requirements
to be waived, a s there is ample parking.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Pl anning Comraission at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of May, 1962, by the following vote:
