C. 154-381 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BE.ACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON MANHATTAN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PI.ANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HIBMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Hubert M. 01Haver and Oren E. Wilson on property owned by the applicants and located at 1020 Manhattan Av-enue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on June 11, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit construction of a duplex with three garages, there presently existing on the property a duplex, at 1021 Bay View Drive, hav-ing one garage, which lacks the required B½ x 20' measurements, on that property described as follows: Lot 3, Block 48, First Addition to Hermosa Beach; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission.does ~ar.eby grant this zone variance for the reasons that although the gara_ge_is very minimal, there is being added a garage for a unit which does not-at present have one; arid the structure as proposed fits within our present. zoning and is compatible to the neighborhood. The foregoing resolution was adopted by tne Plan..rtlng Commission at a regular meeting held on the 11th day of June, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm. Noble, Johnson, :rnack and Vice-Chairman Haleso None. Co:rmr.. Viault and Locken.
