A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CGMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH GRANTING AN AMENDMENT TO A PRECISE PIAN UPON CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED ON HILL STREET IN THE CITY OF HIBMOSA BEACH
CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OFEERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: .
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the ·provisions of
Ordinance N. s. 154, application for amendment to Precise Plan granted by
Ordinance N. s. 160, by George F. Rickert,affecting property located at
136 Hill Street, Lot 18 and the southerly 151 of Lot 16, Tract No. 256,
zoned manufacturing; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on
July 9, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider tlu.s
application to permit an addition of 1880 square feet to ~sting cabinet
shop, providing parking for six cars;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Co1mnission does hereby grant this petition to amend the Prec.J.se
Plan approved by Ordinance N. S. 160. by permitting an addition of 1080 square
feet to existing structure and proyiding parking for six cars, as per amendment
to Precise Plan submitted, for the reason that it is felt by the Connnission
that the plan submitted would not be detrimental to the surrounding neighbor-
hood and that the parking wi.11 be sufficient; the amended precise plan as
submitted indicating two tandem parking spaces which were not considered by
the Comm.i.ssion in their determination, there being sufficient parking without
the tandem parking.
The foregoing resolution was·adopted by the Planning Conunission at a regular
meeting held on July 9, 1962, by the following vote:
