C. 154-389 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COi~-0:SSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH RECOMMENDING· TO THE CITY COUNCIL CERTAIN ACTION REGARDING A ZONE .AMENDMENT UPON CERTAIN PROPmTY LOCATED BETWEEN SECOND AND HERONDO STREETS IN THE CITY OF HERI10SA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Hermosa Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did~ on A~ril 2, 1962, at a duly advertised hearing, adopt Resolution·P. C~ 154-367, denying an anEndment to the Zoning Map of Article 3, Section 302, of the Zoning Ordinance, changing to R-4 that prop~rty located between Second and Herondo Streets west of Valley Drive which the City Council directed the Commission to consider for such change; and WHEREAS, reconsideration of this matter has been requested.by the City Council in the light of the advice of the legal counsel of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings during r eview of this action, it is the recommendation of the Pl anning Comm:i.ssion thqt the following described property, presently zoned manufacturing, be changed to R":"4: Lots 1 and 2, Block 75, and all-of Block 76, Second Addition to Hermosa Beach, as per map recorded in Book 3, pages 11 and 12 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, and also that portion of First Street vacated lying between saj.d blocks; bounded west by the east line of the SO' right of way of the Southern· California Railway and bounded east by a line parallel with and 301 westerly, measured radially_, from the west line of the 100' right of way of said-Southern California Railway, as shown on said map. EXCEPT from said Block 76, the southeasterly 151 thereof measured at right angles to the southeast line and also the northeasterly 15' thereof, measured along the southeast line of said block; and further excepting that portion of Block 76 lying southwesterly of the west line of the Paci.fie Electric Railway right of way, 351 -wide. That portion of the 50' right of way of the At;·chison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad 'formerly South.ern California Railroad) as shown on map of said Second-Addition to Hecmosa Beach, extending from the south line of Second Street, as shown on said map., to the west line 011 the Pacific Electric Railway right of way, 35' wide. Lot 13 of Yeoman's Subdivision of a portion of Block 91, of the Second Addition to Hermosa Beach. That portion of Block 91 of s~c0nd Addition to Hermosa Beach, included within that portion of the 35' strip of land marked '1Right of Wayu of Redondo Brick Co. R. R. on the map of Yeoman's Subdivision, e:rt~nding from the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 13 of said Yeoman's Subdivision to the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said Lot 13. The foregoing resol~tion was adopted by the Planning Commission at an adjourned me~ting held on July 16, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT..: Comm. Noble, Viault, Black, Locken, Hamilton and Chairman Hales. Comm. Johnson. None.
