C. 154-392 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THIRTIETH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFOONIA THE PIANNING COMMISSION of the City of Hennosa Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Richard H. Gerald on property owned by the applicant and located at 5Q8-30th Street; and WHl!REAS, the Planning Connnission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on August 13, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit addition of second unit, over 40% of existing floor area, and bedtoom addition to existing unit that bas a 3'8" front setback in lieu of required 5', additions to be conforming to required setbacks, on that property described as follows : Lot 4, Block 138, Shakespeare Tract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance for the reason that the existing structure is ~'8" from t he front property line, but the new construction would not materially change what is already e.:nsting and 'What would probably remain f or years to come, and is not detrimental t o the general plan. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of August, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm. Hamilton, Johnson, Miller, Viault and Vice Chairman Noble. None. Comm. Black and Chainnan Hales.
