A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA IIBA.CH
GRANTING A ZONE V,ARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON 14th S'IREET
IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH do~s resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, there was f i led si th this Commission, under the provi sions of
Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by El enor W. Boice on
property owned by the applicant and locat ed at 77-14th Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on November 13,
1962, conduct a duly adverti sed public hearing to consi der this appli cation to
permit minor structural alterations, consi sting of sliding glass door install ation,
on the lower floor of an existing duplex, having an existing single garage, in a
C-2 zone, compri sing a nonconforming structure wit h nonconforming use , on that
property described as follows:
Lot 27, Block 15, Hermosa Beach Tract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone vari ance for the reason
that it does not alter the use of the building and will not prolong the use
of this building to the detriment of any future master pl anning for that area.
The foregoing re~olution was adopted by the Planning Cormni.ssion at a regular
meeti ng hel d on the 13th day of November, 1962, by the following vote:
