C. 154-406 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZuNE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE S'ffl.AND IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. S. 154, application for zone variance by Percy R. Hope on property owned by the applicant and located at 3108 Strand; and WHEREAS, the Planning Connnission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on November 13, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit over 40% addition to an existing dwelling that has a 2'611 northerly sideyard in lieu of required 31, in an R-1 zone, on that _property described as follows: Lot 27, Block 1, Shakespeare Beach Tract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Cormnission does hereby grant this zone variance ,ahd0·requeststhat an affidavit be recorded with the CountyRecorderts office that it will not be used ior separate rental purposes and will be used in conjunction with the exist- ing single-family house, for the reasons that the new building will conform to the present zoning setback requirements, and the intended use does not conflict in any way with the 2'6n northerly sideyard setback of the existing structure. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of November, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm.
