C. 154-408 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE UPON CERTAIN ffiOPERTY LOCATED ON 34TH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CAUFORNIA THE PI.ANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows: WHERE.AS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provisions of Ordinance N. s. 154, application for zone variance by John E. Majek on property owned by the applicant and located at l22-34th Street; and WfIBR.EAS .,a the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on December 10, 1962, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to consider this application to permit .a::,21)\(:tnr.ni:ng radius in lieu of 231 for proposed duplex, on that property described as follows: Lot 6, Block 102, Shakespeare Tract. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the findings at said hearing, the Planning Commission does hereby grant this zone variance with the proviso for a 9' opening for the single gar age and 1 7' opening 1· or the double, as it is felt by_the Commission that this request should be granted, which would provide three offstreet parking spaces in lieu of the required two; that it would eliminate a curb cut on the 34th Street side which would reduce onstreet city parking by two spaces; and it is felt that his request is feasible because of his presentation as to the interior garage area which can partially be used for the 90° required turn. The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 10th day of December, 1~62, by the following vote~ AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Comm.
