Bud M. Trott, Chief Building Inspector.
John E. Stevens, City Engineer.
Absent: Comm. Blacko
In calling the meeting to order, the Chairman referred to the regular meeting
of December 10, which was adjourned in order to consider further the R .... 3
land-area requirement and to continue study of a proposed parking ordinance.
Members discussed for approximately an hour and a half the first i tern. It was,
pointed out that the Commission had 40 days from December 10 in which to take
action and refer the matter back to the City Council and that it would be
desirable to have the parking ordinance in effect at the time the land-area
requirement became effective, if the two could be worked out simultaneously.
Furthermore, minimum-sized apartments with an overall average to be required
were suggested, this to be incorporated in the building code. It was agreed
to take no action and hold action on the land-area requirement over until
the January 14, 1963, regular meeting.
Thereafter, the meeting was devoted to study of the proposed parking ordinance
and suggested parking standards.
