P.C. RESOLUTION 91-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MURAL SIGN WHICH EXCEEDS SIGN AREA
REQUIREMENTS AT 1242 HERMOSA AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a hearing on September
17, 1991, for a request for a mural sign and made the following
findings:
A. The proposed mural sign will not be inconsistent with the
character of surrounding businesses;
B. The mural sign will enhance the building's appearance while
not adding any advertisement or identification of the
business which would exceed that permitted for other
businesses within the C-2 zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby approve the
mural at 1242 Hermosa Avenue subject to the following conditions:
1. The sign shall be consistent with the drawing submitted for
Planning Commission review.
2. Any sign copy for
the business shall
be submitted for
