BEACH, CA LIFORNI A, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT UPON
CERTAIN PRO PERTY LOCATED ON ARTESIA BOULEVARD IN TH E CITY
OF HERMOSA BEACH , CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOW S :
WHER EAS, t he r e was f i led wi th t h is Commission, under the provi s ions of
Ordinance N.S, 154, app lica tion for c onditi o nal us e permit by the $ou t h
B~y Uni on High Sc ho0l Di stri ct, up on prop e rty l ease d by the app lican t
and l ocate d at 996-998 Ar t esia Bl vd,; and
WHEREAS , the Pl a nning Commi ss ion of .the Ci t y of He rmos a Beach did on
January 24, 1967, conduct a duly advertised hearing to con sider this applica
tion to pe rm i t adul t education day ·cl asses and night ·c+asses as part of
the Sou th Bay Union High Sch oo l Di st rict, o n th at property descri bed as
f ollows:

NOW, THEREFOR E, BE IT RESOLVED that, in view of the fi ndin gs at said hearing,
the Planning Commission gran t this Conditi€mal Use Permit for the s pecifi c
us es of day and nigh t c lass es and admini stra tion off ic es as part of the
South Bay Uni on High School Distri ct, bec aus e it has be en det erm ined by
t he Pl anning Commission th ere wo uld be no detri me nta l use o f the p r operty
in questio n and it app e ars to be not in confl i ct and is com pa tibl e wi t h
the surro unding area, a nd, i t is ·in kee pin g with the Gen e ral Pl an us es.
