A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED ON HERMOSA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA

THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission, under the provision s of Ordinance
N.S. 1~4, applicati on tor conditional use permit by Richard Germack, James
Lightfoot and W. McQu i llin upon property loc ated at 1248 Hermosa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Plannin g Commission of the Cicy of Hermosa Beach did on August
14, 1967, conduct a duly advertised hearing to consider this application
to serve beer and wine in c onjunction with a restaurant, and applicants did
not appear at said meeting; and
WHEREAS, motion was made to continue t he hearing unti 1 the next regular meeting
of the Commission on September 11, 1967; and
WHEREAS, applicants did not appear at the regular meecing of September 11, 1967,
which was adjourned for lack of a quorum to a meeting date of Sept e mber 18, 19b7; and
WHEREAS, applicants did not appear at the adjourned meetirg of September 18, 1967,
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED t hat, in view of the findings at said hearing,
the Planning Commis s ion doe s deny this condition a l use permit application on
the grounds that the applicants had proper notification of the meetings, and
failed to appear ac any of the three meetings at which this item was in troduced,
and have not indicated to the Planning Commission any of cheir present or future
in t entions.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at an adjourned
meecing held on Sept e mber 18, 1967, by the f ollowing vote:
